Banana Chai Smoothie

1 C frozen banana
1 fistful of kale or other greens
1/2 C (or more, as needed) of full-fat coconut milk
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t cardamom
1/2 t ginger
Small pinch each of black pepper and unrefined salt
1 t pure vanilla extract
1/8 t finely ground fennel seed (optional)
1/4 t molasses (optional)
