1/2-1 c water, depending on how thick you like your smoothies
1-2 kale leaves, minus stems
1/3 c cooked beet, or 1/4 c finely-shredded raw beet
1 c frozen banana
1/4-1/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder (preferable raw) or carob powder, to taste
1 T unsweetened, pure vanilla extract
Maca powder, spirulina, liquid chlorophyll, vegetable protein
